We were keen to find a remote campsite near to the coast – we wanted very little interaction with any other people and just wanted to get away and enjoy the Welsh coast side – after much searching on the Internet we came across this site – we were so lucky. The site does indeed offer seclusion and privacy, and the on-site facilities are more than adequate for remote camping. Jill was so helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this camping site.

What a great wild camping location. One of the best and the most unique experiences we’ve ever had, and the pictures don’t do them justice!
The beautiful seaside setting and no one else around during the stay in the field. The sunset on the hill and shooting stars made us feel like a dream the whole time we were there. The area around the campsite is very picturesque, there are several beaches nearby, and a few little towns where to have a meal in the afternoon. Plenty of space with well thought out touches, perfect for camping and relaxing. Great walks and easy to find. Absolutely stunning!
There is a shed a little way away from the campsite with a sink (hot and cold water), microwave, kettle, dryer hanger, washing liquid and some tea bags, which makes life easier.
Jill and her husband are top hosts and very friendly and lovely people. They gave us a warm welcome and provided all the necessary information and tips about the area which is very helpful. Jill also provides visits to farm animals and you can even buy some duck eggs from there.
If you want a peaceful and remote location, this is for you. Would definitely come back again!

Wonderful spot if you’re looking for something out of the way and a bit more remote. Not far from the coastal path and an easy taxi into town . Thanks Jill.

Jill was a fabulous host and was most welcoming. You can camp in the field below the bank that leads up to the spot where the amazing view is , or camp where the amazing view is of the sea . We chose the latter . It’s well worth the effort carrying all your camping equipment up the steep slope .
If your ok with basic facilities and like the freedom to just BE … I recommend this oasis of sanity .

Beautiful location within walking distance of the beach with amazing views. The nearest is town is only a short drive away but Jill’s place feels very rural and hidden away to get the full wild camping experience but having amenities of local restaurants and shops at your fingertips. Jill was very helpful with local knowledge and great ideas to visit and places to explore. Would definitely recommend and come back for another relaxing escape from everything. Thanks for having us! x

Great campsite, very friendly hosts, just what I was looking for. Quiet and out-of-the-way – a private field on the Ceredigion coast. If you like more of a wild camping experience (as opposed to large commercial campsites) this is a good place to choose. Although this is wild, or semi-wild camping, there are some simple facilities on site, which are all that is needed – a portaloo, and a utility room with a sink with hot and cold water, fridge, microwave. One of the best things is that campfires are allowed in the designated fire pit. Helpfully, wood, kindling and firelighters are available to purchase on site.

2 July 2021 at 7:20 pmGreat camping field but I recommend heading up the short hill to get the best view, the most gorgeous view of the sea with a guaranteed view of the sunset!
Helpful ReviewAmazing waking up in a field next to cows and sheep. Portaloo and sink on-site with plugs in the barn.

Jill’s place is a beautiful escape from the every day world. So quite and provides the feeling of perfect isolation even with the town only a 10min drive away. We loved all the animals on site. The views were stunning and both Jill and Andy were excellent hosts! Jill offers a range of treatments on site and sells essential oils, massage oils and more. We do not feel your trip would be complete without taking advantage of some of these! We look forward to returning in the future.

Very safe and nice area. You really feel like wild camping, however the kettle, microwave, sink and washing up liquid and sponge really made a difference. Lovely sunset both night and were also very lucky with weather. Jill is extremely lovely, friendly and opened person. Just perfect!
